Tile shape

Portrait is designed for the taller profile-grid preview. Square remains useful for square posts.

Photos stay on your device. No upload to a server, no account, no watermark.
Posting order

Unzip the download and publish posts in numerical order: 01, 02, 03.... This places the last uploaded tile in the top-left on a chronological grid. Pinned or rearranged posts may change the final appearance.

Turn one image into an Instagram grid

The tool center-crops your artwork into one continuous grid, then splits it into separate JPG posts. All pieces are produced locally in your browser.

3 × 1 grid

Create one connected row of three posts.

3 × 2 grid

Turn a design into six connected Instagram posts.

3 × 3 grid

Build a nine-post photo puzzle across three rows.

3 × 4 grid

Use 12 posts for a taller profile-grid composition.

How to post the tiles in order

For a standard chronological grid, post the bottom-right tile first and finish with the top-left tile. The download names start with post-01 and continue in the intended posting order. If you pin or rearrange posts, the composite image may move out of alignment.

Instagram grid vs. image splitter

This Instagram tool uses fixed three-column layouts and portrait or square JPG tiles. For arbitrary rows, columns, and full-resolution PNG pieces, use our general Image Splitter.
